GREENVILLE, S.C. – William "The Refrigerator" Perry and his brother Michael Dean Perry were in Greenville on Thursday as part of the SC Football Hall of Fame Legends Speaker Series.
The event featured a silent auction and a question and answer session with Michael Dean. The brothers had not done a speaking engagement together in about three years.
William played football at Clemson from 1981-1984 and helped the Tigers capture a national championship in 1981. He then went on to play in the NFL for ten seasons and won a Super Bowl with the Chicago Bears in 1986.
Michael Dean played football for the Tigers from 1984-1987. Like his brother, he also played in the NFL. He was a six-time Pro Bowler and won the AFC Defensive Player of the Year award in 1989.
Both were excited to be in Greenville and to meet Clemson fans.
